Der Papst wird die Philippinen vom 15.-19.1.2015 besuchen und der Schwerpunkt ist Manila. Es ist zu erwarten, dass die schon desolate Verkehrssituation sich extrem verschlechtert. Es wird erwartet, das alleine zur Messe im Rizalpark 6 Millionen Menschen strömen.

CEB Advisory - Road Simulation of Papal Visit within airport vicinity
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that a road simulation of Pope Francis' arrival will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 beginning at 6:00PM. There will be a caravan along the vicinity of the Villamor Airbase, Andrews Avenue, Roxas Boulevard, Quirino and the Papal residence.
Due to the road simulation, there may be heavy vehicular traffic in the surrounding areas of the airport. CEB passengers with flights within the period of the road simulation, should allow at least 3-4 hours to commute to the NAIA Terminal 3.
