[Information For Normal Passports]
Passport required.
- Nationals of Germany can enter with passports and/or
passport replacing documents valid for the period of
intended stay.
Visa required, except for A touristic stay of max. 30 days:
- for holders of normal passports, being nationals of
Germany;
Minors:
- When arriving in, or departing from Thailand, minors aged

Additional Information:
- Visitors who are visa exempt are required to hold documents
for their next destination.
- Visitors over 12 years of age are required to hold
sufficient funds to cover their stay (at least THB 10,000.-
per person or THB 20,000.- per family).

Warning:
- Visitors who are visa exempt but do not hold return/onward
tickets could be refused entry.
Thailand (TH)
Vaccination against Yellow Fever required, if arriving within
10 days after leaving or transiting countries with infected or
endemic areas.
Exempt from Yellow Fever vaccination:
- Children under 1 year of age.
- Transit passengers not leaving the airport transit area.
Warning:
- Those not holding a valid Yellow Fever vaccination
certificate, if required, will be vaccinated upon arrival
and kept in quarantine for 6 days or otherwise deported.
Recommended:
- Malaria prophylaxis. Malaria risk exists throughout the year
in rural, especially forested and hilly areas of the whole
country mainly towards the international borders. There is
no risk in cities and the main tourist resorts (e.g.
Bangkok, Chiangmai, Pattaya, Phuket, Samui). P. falciparum
resistant to chloroquine and resistant to
sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine reported. Resistance to mefloquine
and to quinine reported from areas near the borders with
Cambodia and Myanmar in risk areas near Cambodia and Myanmar
borders: IV.

Hier noch mal zum Vergleich die Angaben zu Thailand. Dort steht klar, wer ohne Visa einreist, also nur den 30 Tage Touristen Aufenthalt macht, muss ein Weiterflug- bzw. Rückreiseticket besitzen, andernfalls könnte er abgewiesen werden.
Hat man hingegen ein Visa (also reist nicht als "visa exempt" ein), scheint man weder Weiterreisetickets noch Dokumente für das nächste Ziel zu benötigen. Aber da scheinen dafür jetzt die Botschaften ja schon bei der Visaausgabe strenger drauf zu achten.
In Kambodscha braucht man ja in jedem Fall ein Visa.
