So hier noch mal kurz die Mail die ich jetzt an den Besitzer geschrieben habe falls es jemanden interessiert.
Dear Mr. F.,
As I have already mentioned to you on the telephone, we have already left the apartment just a few hours after we arrived, due to the following reasons:
1. The area is not family-friendly. Our daughter cannot move around freely as there are stairsteps everywhere, which also do not have handrails. She already fell down and hit her head twice. We could not go to a hospital to have her checked by a doctor since the manager or helper are not around and did not have time.
2. The apartment is dirty and full with mosquitoes and flies. The refrigerator was not properly cleaned, in fact there were still old food stuff inside it.
3. Upon arrival, we have seen that one of the windows could not be closed and locked. Your helper, Mr. E., wanted to repair it, however he could not do so as the manager summoned him to do some other things.
4. We have not received keys for the apartment, and therefore could not leave the place without having to worry of our belongings being stolen. The manager told me that he cannot give us keys and that Mr. E. also do not have time anymore. He further added that we will then receive the keys in the next days to come. I have expressed my disappointment and decision to leave the apartment and he said it was okay.
5. The car rental that we have previously agreed at a rate of 600 Baht/day suddenly changed to 1,200 Baht; and at least 27,000 Baht if I rent it monthly.
The aforementioned things are simply unacceptable and I have called to inform you about these but you were in a meeting and did not have time.
Due to these circumstances, we had to transfer to another more expensive resort at the last minute.
I also want to let you know that I am now renting a different car and it only costs 10,000 Baht/month. Either your manager does not know the ropes or he only wanted to earn a little bit more. Few days before we arrived, your manager also sent me a strange e-mail that I will forward to you.
As we have not stayed at the apartment at all, I would therefore request for a full refund of my deposit, which you can send to my bank account.
