This letter was sent to all business establishments by the Hua Hin Provincial Police. Please pay particular attention to Item #1. There is a request by the Thai Government for an abstinence on music, dance and entertainment activites as a sign for respect and mourning for Queen Sitikit.
"Announcement from the Hua Hin Police Station
On the occasion of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, we request the cooperation of entertainment venues, service establishments, and similar establishments to express our deepest condolences and respect. We request the following cooperation:

Temporarily suspend or reduce entertainment activities, such as live music performances, concerts, or other entertainment activities, to mourn.

Open for business as usual, but please refrain from public relations, advertising, or posting on social media during the mourning period.

Adjust the atmosphere of your restaurant to be appropriate for the occasion.
Reduce the volume of music, use soft lighting, and avoid lively activities.

Staff dress code: Please dress respectfully in neutral tones, such as black, gray, and white, to show respect and mourning.

Communicating with customers and the public: Please post a notice at the storefront or through your restaurant's online channels. To create understanding that this is a joint expression of condolence and cooperation with the government.
