Schlimm genug. Ich fliege in etwas mehr als einer Woche. Und nicht nur zum saufen und vögeln, sondern auch wegen der Atmosphäre. Keine Lichter und Musik in den Bars, wenn überhaupt geöffnet, kein Bier im Stumble Inn oder Hillary2 und dabei der Musik lauschen und das Treiben beobachten? Vom Nana Plaza gar nicht zu reden. Ich warte nochmal ein paar Tage ab, Hotel ist stornierbar, vielleicht flieg ich von Bangkok direkt weiter auf die Phills oder Vietnam.

Scheint eine besondere Persönlichkeit gewesen zu sein. Hoffe trotzdem bis ich im Dezember fliege ist alles wieder normal

This letter was sent to all business establishments by the Hua Hin Provincial Police. Please pay particular attention to Item #1. There is a request by the Thai Government for an abstinence on music, dance and entertainment activites as a sign for respect and mourning for Queen Sitikit.

"Announcement from the Hua Hin Police Station

On the occasion of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, we request the cooperation of entertainment venues, service establishments, and similar establishments to express our deepest condolences and respect. We request the following cooperation:

1️⃣ Temporarily suspend or reduce entertainment activities, such as live music performances, concerts, or other entertainment activities, to mourn.

2️⃣ Open for business as usual, but please refrain from public relations, advertising, or posting on social media during the mourning period.

3️⃣ Adjust the atmosphere of your restaurant to be appropriate for the occasion.

Reduce the volume of music, use soft lighting, and avoid lively activities.

4️⃣ Staff dress code: Please dress respectfully in neutral tones, such as black, gray, and white, to show respect and mourning.

5️⃣ Communicating with customers and the public: Please post a notice at the storefront or through your restaurant's online channels. To create understanding that this is a joint expression of condolence and cooperation with the government.

The Hua Hin Provincial Police would like to thank everyone for their cooperation.

To join together in expressing our deepest loyalty and gratitude for His Majesty's graciousness."

Ich glaube ja so einige. Zum Beispiel, dass man von einem Klo aus dem Weltall erschlagen werden kann.

30 Tage Totentanz, glaube ich einfach nicht. Ich meine, ich würde es begrüßen, wenn nicht jeder noch so kleine Bums in der Soi 7 (oder auch woanders) die Musik noch lauter macht, wie der Nachbar. Ich gehe in eine Bar, um mich zu unterhalten. Oder die Treppe rauf und das angenehme verrichten.
