MANILA - Philippine Airlines (PAL) has cancelled a total of 41 flights until Sunday mostly because of Typhoon Ruby.
The 14 flights cancelled for Saturday are those leaving Manila and bound for the following destinations: Tacloban (6 flights); Legazpi (2);Naga (2); Catarman, Calbayog, Surigao and Masbate (one each).
The flight numbers of the cancelled flights are as follows: Tacloban 2P2981/2982, 2P2191/2192, 2P2193/2194, 2P2985/2986, 2P2987/2988, 2P2187/2188; Catarman 2P2079/2080; Calbayog 2P2071/2072; Naga 2P2265/2266, 2P2261/2262; Surigao 2P2095/2096; Legazpi 2P2925/2926, 2P2927/2928; Masbate 2P2021/2022.
Another 27 flights will no longer operate on Sunday, including the following: Tacloban (6 flights), Caticlan (10), Naga (2), Legazpi (2), Kalibo (2), one each to Catarman, Calbayog, Masbate, Roxas as well as Kalibo to Incheon.
The flight numbers are as follows: Catarman 2P2079/2080; Calbayog 2P2079/2080; Naga 2P2265/2266, 2P2261/2262; Legazpi 2P2925/2926, 2P2927/2P2928; Masbate 2P2021/2022; Roxas 2P2201/2202; Tacloban 2P2981/2982, 2P2191/2192, 2P2193/2194, 2P2985/2986, 2P2987/2988, 2P2187/2188; Caticlan 2P2039/2040, 2P2041/2042, 2P2043/2044, 2P2045/2046, 2P2049/2050, 2P2051/2052, 2P2053/2054, 2P2057/2058, 2P2059/2060, 2P2063/2064; Kalibo 2P2971/2972, 2P2969/2970.
All other domestic and international flights for Saturday and Sunday will operate, but will encounter minor delays, PAL said.
